Position Title Speech Language Pathologist
Compensation Our employees are our most valuable asset; therefore, we offer competitive pay and benefits. The pay range starts at $74,900 - $91,700 annually, depending on qualifications (i.e., licensure and experience). The salary reflects a 40-hour workweek, annualized. This position is benefits eligible, including health and dental insurance, health savings account with an employer contribution, flexible spending accounts, and retirement account with matching contribution. Additionally, we offer generous PTO, paid holiday schedule, childcare discount, and eligibility for loan forgiveness.
Schedule Full time - 32-40 hours Mon-Fri

Program Summary The Speech Language Pathologist works with caregivers and alongside children 12 months of age to approximately 13 years of age. This therapist will have a varied caseload that will include areas across our scope of practice: pragmatic language, pre-linguistic communication, expressive language, receptive language, apraxia, fluency, AAC, phonological disorders, literacy, executive function, voice and feeding (to name a few). You may treat clients as part of a team that may or may not include a mental health therapist, occupational therapist and/or early childhood teacher.

Responsibilities
Providing skilled and medically necessary speech/language therapy to children with a variety of needs which may include speech, language, communication, feeding or swallowing disorders
Collaborating with family, caregivers, and other service providers to maximize each child's potential for positive outcomes
Completing evaluations, treatment plans, service entries, parent education/home programming
Qualifications
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
Current State of Minnesota Department of Health Speech-Language Pathologist License (or in process of applying for state license)
Knowledge of all pediatric speech-language deficits or availability and creativity to access resources when needed to understand pediatric disorder
An understanding of the various payer sources with their specific documentation requirements and prior authorization procedures
Ability to apply knowledge in speech-language pathology or availability and creativity to access resources when needed to clinically apply understanding of pediatric disorder
Ability to maintain child/parent confidentiality
Ability to consistently work as a team member demonstrating a positive and professional attitude including times of conflict resolution
Ability to plan, organize and manage time efficiently
Basic Word processing skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to empathize with parental concerns
