We are looking for a dynamic Sr. Manufacturing Engineer in GA Dimensional Engineering who thrives on quality and precision. Based 100% onsite in either Tempe or Casa Grand, Arizona, this role entails ensuring all manufactured parts and assemblies meet specific dimensional specifications and quality standards. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing functional and cost-effective fixtures, collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams, and integrating GD&T requirements into manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, CAD models to ensure correct measurements and tolerances in production. Design fixtures that align with the assembly line's process flow and ergonomics. Recommend and evaluate design and process improvements in collaboration with cross‑functional teams. Develop, validate, and incorporate Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) requirements. Perform tolerance stack‑up analysis to minimize impacts on final assembly quality and performance. Must-Have Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, STEM or related field, or equivalent relevant education and experience. Minimum 5 years of experience in dimensional engineering, preferably in manufacturing. Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar). Required Industry Experience
Experience in the Manufacturing sector, specifically with advanced metrology tools and Statistical Process Control (SPC) is highly desirable. About Akraya
