Pay Range: $21.00–$23.00 per hour

Compensation In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this position is posted. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
About the Program The Residential Treatment Program (STRTP) is a short‑term residential therapeutic program that serves pregnant, parenting, and at‑risk young women (ages 13‑18) and their children who are in the foster care and/or juvenile justice system.
Role Summary Responsible for monitoring, supervising, and guiding the residents in their daily routine. Provides a healthy, therapeutic, and safe environment for residents and their children in direct care.
Schedule
Sunday – Wednesday: 3:00 pm – 12:00 am (flex day 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm)
Wednesday – Saturday: 3:00 pm – 12:00 am (flex day 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm)
Wednesday – Saturday: 11:00 pm – 8:00 am (flex day 11:00 am – 7:00 pm)
Location: 155 N Occidental Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90026
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide supervision, protection, and care of residents individually and in groups at all times.
Assist residents in group work and in handling individual problems.
Administer discipline and set limits for behavior.
Document residents' progress; identify potential needs for professional services and communicate findings to staff.
Ensure resident safety during transportation to and from appointments.
Maintain confidentiality as required by St. Anne's, licensing, HIPAA, and other regulatory agencies.
Qualifications
Must meet one of the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
A valid Child Development Teaching Permit.
12 semester units in Early Childhood Education, Adolescent Development, Foster and Kinship Care Education, or Psychology plus at least 100 hours of on‑the‑job experience working with youth.
A valid certification as an Alcohol Counselor, Drug Counselor, or Alcohol and Drug Counselor plus 100 hours of relevant experience.
A valid vocational training certificate, credential, or documentation indicating a trade journeyperson who instructs children in vocational skills, with at least 100 hours of mentorship or related experience.
Prior full‑time staff or volunteer experience at a group home, short‑term residential therapeutic program, or substance abuse treatment program for at least one year.
Relevant life experience in child welfare, mental health, or juvenile justice systems (e.g., consumer, mentor, caregiver).
Must possess and maintain a valid California Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
