Key Responsibilities
Negotiate and administer life‑of‑program contract terms, conditions, and pricing.
Work onsite in Chula Vista, CA and interface with program leadership, engineering, quality, production control, suppliers, and internal customers.
Manage multiple suppliers/components; oversee delivery, quality assurance, cost management, quote preparation, negotiations, and contract award.
Employ time‑management skills to handle high volumes of work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal guidance.
Participate in CORE Lean and continuous improvement activities, including Kaizen events.
Place purchase orders, monitor supplier performance, negotiate long‑term agreements, provide delivery assurance, and use industry tools to ensure 100% on‑time delivery and quality.
Prepare RFQs, negotiate, and issue purchase orders promptly.
Travel up to 10% domestically.
What You Will Learn
Manage a complex supply chain in a challenging out‑of‑production environment.
Expand knowledge of Digital tools – Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Tableau.
Qualifications You Must Have
University degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
Experience with contract structure, business terms, and conditions.
Experience with ERP systems.
Experience leading a project.
Qualifications We Prefer
Digital tools – Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Tableau, SQL.
Experience in the aerospace industry.
Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems.
MS Office experience, including creating PowerPoint presentations.
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement tools.
Ability to communicate and present to senior‑level leadership.
Work independently, remain calm under pressure, and navigate ambiguity.

Application Information Salary range: $90,000 – $182,000 USD. RTX considers factors such as role, function, responsibilities, experience, location, education, and key skills when offering compensation.
