Responsibilities Experience with SAP is a must have, have 9 new production lines in the next 6 months. With each new line the has to setup all new inventory in the warehouse. In this role we are looking for someone to be strong with process and optimization along with Data Analysis. It is important this engineer have at least 2 years experience working in a Manufacturing Environment.
As a logistics engineer, you will work with the Team to leverage Process Documents to decide bin sizes, how many pieces per each bin based on usage rate, create locations, labels within the factory and manage the transfers of materials for every part within the production line. Once a line is complete, the engineer will advance to another line or will be tasked with the optimization of reviewing material turnover rates and data analysis on production.
Responsible for material bin setup and optimization
Ensuring Optimized functioning of the warehouse and achieving maximum efficiency and space utilization
Setups and optimize material flow by referencing Process Documents to determine material demand, characteristics and strategy
Adopts lean concepts to streamline processes to achieve process flow efficiency according to SPS principle
Analyzing warehousing performance( ex: AndOns and Material turnover) to implement corrective actions
Qualifications
Proficient Microsoft Skills and SAP knowledge
2 Years of Warehouse/ Manufacturing Experience
