AOI
We are seeking a highly experienced Global Strategic Sourcing Director with a strong background in IC, PCBA and semiconductor related industries. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and 5 years of management experience.
Job Duties Develop and implement sourcing strategies for materials and components to support the business objectives of the company. Manage the US, Taiwan and China sites for sourcing. Negotiate contracts with suppliers and manage supplier relationships. Ensure quality standards and delivery schedules are met by suppliers. Work with cross‑functional teams to identify cost‑saving opportunities and optimize the supply chain. Work with contract manufacturers to ensure they meet company requirements. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations and best practices.
Education Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field.
Experience Strong sourcing background, with a minimum of 10 years of experience. APICS CSCP is a plus. Experience managing locations internationally is required. Bilingual English and Mandarin Chinese is required. Experience in sourcing materials in the semiconductor manufacturing industry is required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build effective relationships with suppliers. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
