Base pay range: $65.00/hr – $80.00/hr
Responsibilities
Experience with object‑oriented coding language (e.g., Python, Java, etc.)
Experience manipulating and working with large data sets
Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively
Participate in the development of metrics, statistics, and descriptive analysis to support the evaluation of C2BMC system performance
Conduct research and analysis to identify meaningful patterns and trends from test datasets, employing statistical methods to validate or reject hypotheses about the data
Employ techniques such as data visualization, simulation, and system modeling to achieve desired analysis results
Assist in developing straightforward solutions to technical problems discovered and create actionable insights for the C2BMC test team and decision makers
Collaborate with the development team to communicate key test findings and assist with anomaly resolution
Aid in the development of new software tools and maintenance of the existing toolset
Qualifications
Desired: Experience working in a Linux environment
Desired: Strong background in mathematics and physics
Desired: Working knowledge of ballistic or non‑ballistic missile defense concepts, Command and Control (C2) systems, defense communication systems, the Missile Defense System (MDS), and Space Domain Awareness
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or another STEM field from an accredited college
CANDIDATES MUST HOLD AN ACTIVE SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE OR HIGHER AND BE ABLE TO WORK ONSITE
DoD 8570 IAT Level‑II certification (e.g., Sec+) required; candidates without the certification may be considered and must obtain it within 60 days of the program start date

Candidate is expected to travel as needed (less than 10%); most work will be conducted at Schriever SFB. Some non‑standard work hours may be required due to test event schedules.
