Job Summary:
The Orthodontic Program Director is a full-time academic leadership position responsible for overseeing the administration, development, and quality assurance of the Orthodontics Residency program within the College of Dentistry.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain program curriculum, ensuring compliance with CODA accreditation standards.
Supervise and mentor residents, providing clinical and academic guidance.
Oversee program budget, allocate resources, and report financial status to college administration.
Serve as liaison between the orthodontic program and college administration, professional organizations, and accrediting bodies.
Participate in teaching, research, and scholarly activities.
Required Qualifications:
DDS/DMD or foreign equivalent degree.
Certificate in Orthodontics from a CODA accredited program completed prior to hire.
Eligibility for Nebraska dental license.
Certified orthodontist with a strong record of clinical, academic, and leadership experience.
