Position Summary This position assists the Head Coach of Speech and Debate with all phases of operating the Forensics program, including coaching and recruiting for both Speech and Debate.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's degree in areas relevant to coaching forensics, speech and debate programs.

Collegiate experience preferred.

Knowledge of speech and debate rules and regulations.

Ability and knowledge of recruitment of college students.

Good organizational skills and the ability to manage a team.

Ability to mentor and encourage student and team success.

Commitment to Concordia University's Christian values.

Ability to drive a 12‑passenger van.

To qualify for a graduate assistant position, applicant must be accepted into a CUNE graduate program.

General Duties

Participates and helps plan and lead practices.

Helps with recruitment of students.

Helps with meet preparation and statistics, including scouting opponents.

Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach of Speech and Debate.

Special Position Requirements

All staff and faculty must follow security policies that correspond to the level of sensitivity of the data they handle.

Staff and faculty should promptly report any security concerns or incidents to designated personnel.

Maintain security and patching of personal devices connected to the Institutional email.

Maintain high standards for institutional, staff, faculty, employee, and financial data used for business operations.
