The Site Installation Project Manager (Installation Coordinator) is responsible for planning, coordinating and leading the installation of the site works of projects. This person will work in collaboration with other Installation Coordinators, the Site Managers and Supervisors as well as the project management team. The scope of a hydro‑electric power project will include all aspects of turbine and generator installation.

Responsibilities

Supervision and coordination of all site installation activities related to the system (Turbine, Generator, BOP, EPS)

Responsibility for safe and cost effective execution of installation works in accordance with the project schedule and specifications

Promoting and safeguarding the interests of ANDRITZ on site

Supervision and coordination of the installation works in accordance with contract specifications, drawings and installation documentation

Hands‑on installation and management of the installation team to perform the required works

Ensuring that the workface is suitably qualified to perform the works in accordance with the specifications and the ANDRITZ best practices

Active cooperation and coordination of internal and external system interfaces (coordination of site activities and interface points with internal resources, other contractors, subcontractors, partners and customer)

Active cooperation and coordination to optimize site manning and cost control

Risk assessment of the planned works, safety coordination with others, and implementation of safety measures in accordance with the health, safety and environmental plan

Progress and process monitoring of the works following detailed site schedule and project specifications

Monitoring and/or performance of inspections, measurements, and preparation/completion of installation documentation and test reports

Timely reporting and participation in resolution of site non‑conformities, system interface and technical issues, and preparation of records for possible claims

Receiving goods as well as coordinating the incoming inspection, proper storage and maintenance of the goods whilst in storage

Internal reporting of accidents and incidents critical to safety (near misses)

Preparation of daily logs and input to weekly/monthly reports of installation activities

Preparation and timely acquisition of all required manpower, tools, equipment and devices for each particular installation process

Compilation of the required actual drawings and installation documentation

Proper, safe and professional component handling

Preparation and hand over of the spare parts, project tools and devices in coordination with the Site Manager

On‑site training of the client personnel as specified

Cooperation and coordination with other site staff, including Installation Supervisors, Commissioning Coordinator/Engineers

Input for final as‑built drawings

Requirements

5+ years of proven experience in a foreman, site supervisor and/or manager role related to Hydroelectric Turbines, Generators, Balance of Plant and/or Electrical Power Systems.

Experience working on large, complex construction projects.

Knowledge of OSHA standards

Knowledge of applicable ISO Standards

Familiarity with applicable US Standards

Able to read engineering drawings and procedures

Ability to read and understand contract requirements

Ability to identify non‑conformances and organize the work

Use of LMS, QCS and other Site related Software.

Authority to stop work are site due to health and safety issues or quality concerns
