General Summary As Clinical Staff Pharmacist - Oncology, you will:
Serve as an advanced pharmacist practitioner engaged in providing pharmaceutical care
Regularly monitor patient-specific therapies and collaborate with other health care team members
Participate in quality‑assurance activities, represent department on hospital‑wide committees, and serve as a resource for other health care practitioners
Ensure safe and accurate dosing, preparation and handling of chemotherapy
Actively participate as a preceptor for the residency program and for students, when appropriate
Primarily serve as the Oncology Clinical Pharmacist, however, be available to help Central Pharmacy functions if needed
This position reports directly to the Clinical Pharmacy Practice Manager
Educational Requirements/Preferences
Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy from accredited school; PharmD preferred.
PGY‑1 from an ASHP‑accredited program is required
PGY‑2 from an ASHP‑accredited program preferred and/or 3‑5 years of relevant clinical experience
Current Maryland Pharmacist license required.
Shift Full‑Time (40 hours per week), Rotating shifts including weekends & holidays.
Salary Range Minimum $56.57/hour - Maximum $93.30/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
