Sitter & Barfoot Veterans Care Center is seeking a Full Time Human Resources Analyst to manage the recruitment and workers’ compensation program, as well as assist with employee engagement initiatives. The successful candidate will possess strong time management, organizational and interpersonal skills and be able to grasp new concepts quickly. He or she must embody a positive attitude, approach tasks with high energy, and have a willingness to be flexible and adapt quickly to change. The selected candidate must have shown demonstrated commitment successfully adhering to an assigned work schedule.
Summary Of Responsibilities
Responsible for full life cycle recruitment, management of worker’s compensation, and support for employee engagement programs
Collaborate with hiring managers to develop and execute successful recruiting strategies to attract candidates; grow talent pipeline via community resources, industry associations, job boards, job fairs and networking events
Manage the pre-employment and employee referral program, including reference checks, background investigations, drug screening, and distribution and collection of new hire paperwork
Manage the workers’ compensation process including timely submission of incident reports, wage charts, and supplemental reports to appropriate contacts; communicate thoroughly with managers and employees regarding claims
Accurately key data into Cardinal HCM for new hires, transfers, promotions, and leave of absences
Maintain accurate data in PageUp ATS to capture and track all candidate activity
Minimum Qualifications
Experience providing generalist support in a fast-paced HR department
Experience accurately entering personnel transactions into an HRIS
Experience working in an applicant tracking system
Experience effectively screening applications/resumes against job requirements
HR project management experience
Ability to interact within a diverse workforce; professional presentation required.
Must have intermediate skills in Microsoft Office 365
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Additional Considerations
Experience with HR processes related to data analytics
Professional experience working with state benefit and recruitment systems (Cardinal & PageUp)
