Job Overview As a financial advisor with Edward Jones, you will develop and grow your own practice, supported by branch associates, a home‑office team and other regional financial advisors. We offer a unique branch‑team business model in which one financial advisor and one branch office administrator are fully focused on building client relationships. With more offices in the U.S. and Canada than any other investment firm, we serve over eight million clients and provide world‑class products, services, and support for nearly a century.

Key Responsibilities

Build relationships to create new clients via face‑to‑face and virtual sourcing strategies (e.g., residential, business, networking, introductions and referrals, social media, and speaking engagements).

Deeply understand clients’ and prospective clients’ needs, priorities, and concerns to accelerate trust and create personalized, comprehensive strategies.

Oversee branch processes, roles, and responsibilities to ensure a high‑quality, streamlined client experience consistent with firm policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical guidelines.

Engage the branch team to create, monitor, and adjust the branch business plan to increase effectiveness and achieve desired business results.

Create a highly engaging environment built on mutual trust, respect, feedback, and accountability.

Complete ongoing training offered by the firm and regulatory authorities, and maintain registrations and licenses in good standing.

Work with a firm‑provided branch office and client support team to focus on your clients.

Collaborate with a network that extends from your local client support team to the home office, enabling independent work backed by a large support network.

Candidate Qualifications

Series 7 and Series 66 required.

Experience in financial services with a track record of success and in‑depth knowledge of investment products and services.

State insurance licenses preferred.

Preferred additional professional designations such as CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, CRPC, or Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™.
