Job Description:
As a Security Professional - Government Building Patrols in Brooklyn, NY, you will patrol and monitor assigned government locations to deter security incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will conduct regular patrols, maintain a visible presence to help prevent potential issues, and provide outstanding customer service while communicating clearly with visitors and staff.

What You'll Do
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to deter unwanted activity and identify any unusual circumstances.
Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to deter trespassing and other prohibited behaviors.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying identification as needed.
Collaborate with local authorities and onsite management during emergency situations or incidents.
Complete required reports and documentation accurately and promptly following security-related events.
Minimum Requirements
At least 6 months of security-related experience.
Proof of high school diploma or GED.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Minimum age: 18 years for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
