Join Trane Technologies as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer in Pueblo, CO! In this role, you will operate innovative engineered systems and develop, coordinate, and implement sustainable manufacturing production processes. Your cross‑functional team will be focused on delivering quality, safety, and operational efficiency improvements. You will develop and define concepts and manufacturing processes for all new product introductions and product enhancement programs.

Location This position has been designated as On‑Site.

Responsibilities

Design and develop processes for factory transformation projects and equipment implementation.

Improve productivity, quality, equipment performance, energy consumption, and downtime reduction.

Provide technical/subject matter expertise and guidance for the resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems.

Serve as a resource for cause/effect investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning. Design manufacturing flow lines, workstation layouts, and station controls that optimize efficiency, operating costs, and product quality.

Uphold manufacturing standards including machine capability, process maps, set‑ups, quality controls, tooling and fixture records, routings and cycle times.

Develop and define concepts and manufacturing processes for, and as an integral part of, all new product introductions and product enhancement programs, using advanced engineering techniques such as DFM/DFA, FMEA, 3P, 7‑Ways, and Lean Six Sigma Methodology.

Work closely with cross‑functional teams to meet all project deliverables through a stage‑gate process.

Provide technical expertise and leadership for the timely resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems. Serve as a resource for cause/effect analyses, investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning.

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering or related technical disciplines.

Communicate effectively at multiple levels, drive results and accountability, be customer‑focused, possess planning and decision‑making skills, manage complexity and risk, build effective teams, and earn trust through honesty, integrity, and authenticity.

Project Management experience.

Ability to lead and serve as a resource for issue containment, investigations, problem solving, statistical studies, and corrective action planning and execution.

Hands‑on aptitude for mechanical/electrical application related to equipment/processes.

At least 5 years of integrated manufacturing experience in machining, fabrication, welding, electrical systems, assembly processes, or HVAC or heavy industrial manufacturing environments.

Ability to coach, advise and develop teammates and peers.

Compensation Base pay range: $74,000 - $125,000. Total compensation includes a commission/incentive plan. Base pay based on US averages. This role is designated as Safety Sensitive.
