$25.00/hr - $30.00/hr Purpose:

We’re seeking an experienced Human Resources and/or Recruiting Specialist to support our Talent Acquisition team. This contract role will focus on sourcing, screening, and coordinating hires for associate-level office positions across our organizational footprint. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in high-volume recruiting, strong communication skills, and a detail-oriented, collaborative approach to partnering with hiring managers. Location: Buffalo, NY or Rochester, NY Duration: 6-month assignment Essential Functions:

Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and role requirements Manage full-cycle recruitment for associate-level office roles. Source candidates through job boards, referrals, and proactive outreach Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate interview logistics Maintain accurate records in our applicant tracking system (ATS) Provide timely updates and guidance to hiring managers throughout the process Support onboarding coordination in partnership with HR and hiring teams Ensure a positive candidate experience and uphold our employer brand Ensure all pre-employment requirements are met by candidates and hiring managers; including initiation and monitoring of pre-employment background and credit checks. Lead onboarding process in collaboration with administration, information technology, training and hiring manager to ensure a positive and seamless experience. Demonstrate the standards and principles of the Five Star Bank experience in every interaction with internal and external customers, associates, and stakeholders. Incorporate the high-performance behaviors of teamwork, leading by example, and service in every facet of work. Job Related Qualifications:

Required:

Education: High School Diploma Prior Experience: 2+ years of human resources experience, preferably in recruiting. Competencies:

Understanding of recruitment best practice tools and methodologies. Must have strong communication skills both verbal (i.e. telephone, virtual meetings, etc.) and written (i.e. email, presentations, etc.), including the ability to explain results at a level that resonates across many different audiences. Excellent organizational and time management skills. High attention to detail and accuracy, regarding regulation and pre-employment requirements. Ability to manage multiple requisitions and meet deadlines Experience with ATS platforms and recruiting tools Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Physical Requirements:

Able to regularly sit for prolonged periods of time. Extensive computer usage is required. This job description is not exhaustive. The Recruiter may be required to perform other duties as assigned.
