Responsibilities
Develop program logic for new applications or modify logic in existing applications.
Write, test, debug, document, implement, and maintain software applications.
Maintain, test, and integrate application components.
Make recommendations for new code or reuse of existing code and ensure system improvements are implemented.
Analyze requirements and translate business requirements into product designs.
Write technical specifications and other documentation.
Suggest technical alternatives and improve/streamline processes and systems.
Complete project assignments and special projects commensurate with job expectations.
Participate in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation, and buy‑vs‑build recommendations.
Provide leadership and guidance to other technical professionals.
Extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes and implement data‑reporting skills.
Design, implement, and maintain scalable data solutions focusing on data migration and transformation.
Lead technical teams and utilize AWS services for secure data management, developing and maintaining applications using Oracle, Python, and SQL.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate data solutions with other systems.
Refine advanced data ecosystems, integrating disparate sources into high‑performance analytics frameworks and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes.
Develop and manage business intelligence (BI) solutions, translating complex data into actionable insights through analytics hub, dashboards, and reports.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in software engineering or a related occupation.
Experience implementing Agile methodology: sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, grooming stories, using tools such as Jira and Rally.
Proficiency with Core Java, SQL, Web Services (JAX‑WS), REST, SOAP, JSON, Spring, Spring MVC, Git, BitBucket, Maven, Gradle, JUnit, Tomcat, Jenkins, and Unix.
Experience with MicroStrategy, SAP BO, SnapLogic, Oracle, Postgres, Snowflake, DB2, and various SQL databases.
Skills in data migration, transformation, and pipeline architecture using Informatica, SnapLogic, WebFocus, AWS services, and Python.
Ability to architect and build frameworks for data pipelines aligning with consumption patterns.
Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible under company policies.
Alternative Path:
Master’s degree in an equivalent field and three (3) years of experience in the mentioned skills.
