Vassar Brothers Medical Center (VBMC) of Nuvance Health, proudly joined by Northwell Health, is located just 75 minutes north of New York City. We are seeking a career‑minded Obstetrician/Gynecologist Hospitalist or Generalist to join our established and successful group.
Part‑time and full‑time opportunities are available. Our practice admits exclusively to VBMC in Poughkeepsie. The busy Labor and Delivery Unit sees about 2,800 babies born each year. We boast a level III NICU staffed by neonatologists and allied health providers, an excellent Perinatology program, and fellowship‑trained breast surgeons and gynecologic oncologists on campus.

Vassar Brothers Medical Center sits on the scenic Hudson River with a brand new 696,000‑sq‑ft, eight‑level inpatient pavilion featuring 264 private medical/surgical patient rooms and 30 critical care rooms. We provide leading acute and critical emergency care, Level II trauma service, interventional neuroradiology, and are consistently ranked among the top cardiac programs in the United States.
The Hudson Valley offers an excellent quality of life with hiking, biking, boating, cafés, art galleries, and local farmers markets. Outstanding housing and schools are available throughout the region, and the area offers easy commuter access to NYC via Metro‑North and Amtrak.
