Northeast Talent Solutions (NWTS) is recruiting on behalf of a respected, nationally recognized healthcare system seeking an experienced Manager of Risk Management to join its hospital leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a healthcare professional passionate about patient safety, regulatory excellence, and operational integrity to advance within a growing network of acute care facilities.

About the Role As the Manager of Risk Management, you will play a pivotal role in leading the hospital’s Patient Safety and Risk Management Program. You’ll support the Director of Risk Management to identify, assess, and mitigate clinical and operational risks across departments, ensuring compliance with the Joint Commission, CMS, and state regulations.

This is a highly collaborative leadership role that partners closely with physicians, nurses, quality, and legal teams to drive best practices and a culture of continuous improvement in patient safety.

Key Responsibilities Lead investigations and coordinate follow-up for safety events, sentinel incidents, and claims. Maintain and improve systems for reporting and analyzing adverse events and near misses. Partner with leadership to promote compliance with hospital policies, state/federal regulations, and accreditation standards. Facilitate staff education on patient safety, documentation, and compliance initiatives. Participate in committees related to safety, quality improvement, and performance outcomes.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related clinical field (Master’s preferred). 13 years of risk management or patient safety experience in an acute care hospital environment. CPHRM certification (or commitment to obtain within 12 months). Strong knowledge of Joint Commission Standards, CMS/DHS Regulations, and hospital accreditation requirements. Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills with the ability to partner effectively across clinical and administrative teams.
