Reporting to the CIO, the
Vice President of Enterprise Applications
is a key member of the IT leadership team who will lead multiple teams across the IT Enterprise Applications group, including technology transformation programs. This role will ensure business stakeholders are supported with world-class, modern technology platforms to drive business value. This role partners with peers and business leaders to understand their needs and challenges, leads and advises on technology solutions, and manages multiple teams in the delivery and support of technology solutions.
This position and leadership empowers the company through technology and provides a forward-looking view for Rollins’ needs while successfully maintaining current business operations.
Key multi-year strategic initiatives demonstrating growth and value of this role include:
Delivery of an Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platform
ERP Consolidation / Rationalization
Leadership and management of enterprise applications (UKG, Ariba/Concur, etc.)
Partnership and delivery of applications within Rollins’ largest brand, Orkin

Responsibilities
Serve as a key technical leader between IT and business functions dependent on enterprise applications and determine current and future technology needs (Be the key contributor and leader to a EPM implementation and future ERP consolidation / rationalization)
Provide leadership to the team by closely collaborating with functional and business stakeholders to provide guidance on overall designs, architecture, integration, and key technology platform decisions
Define and execute strategies that both stabilize the existing application environments and provide a scalable foundation to pro-actively evolve it in line with projected business growth
Oversee the implementation, ongoing use and maintenance of all applications; including functionality and decision-making
Responsible for budget and expenditures to ensure it is managed within yearly limits
Ensure operational security of enterprise applications and SaaS by coordinating with the cybersecurity and infrastructure teams and regularly testing a robust Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plans
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies and leverage that knowledge to identify new opportunities and best practices that can improve the company's capabilities
Manage strategic Enterprise Application vendor/partner relationships and engagements. Lead or sponsor vendor/partner solicitations, selections, and negotiations
Manage team delivery, resource allocation, performance, and career development
Establish team goals/KPIs and effectively track progress against them in partnership with the PMO
Consistently communicate team missions, behavior expectations, and current priorities, ensuring that each team member understands their role and the team’s purpose within the organization. Responsible for overall team morale and support a collaborative environment
Qualifications The Experience You Will Bring (Minimum Requirements):
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field
15+ years of IT experience in large or mid-size multinational company
Experience developing and implementing large scalable systems / digital transformation efforts
EPM and ERP consolidation knowledge, delivery, and experience
Direct management and partnership with system integrators and third-party partners
Worked effectively with all levels of management up to and including Division leadership, VP’s and Executives
Dynamic leadership and management experience of multi-disciplined, technology teams with various priorities
Strong team leader with skills in strategic planning, goal setting, process development, budgeting, and creating opportunities for professional development within technology teams
Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking abilities with a problem-solving aptitude
Strong influencing and negotiating skills
Strong executive communication with ability to convey complex technical topics in easy-to-understand business terms and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners
Passionate about experimentation and continuous improvement
Ability to successfully partner with cross functional teams and key third parties to deliver capabilities or augment existing teams
Strong decision making and prioritization abilities to balance capacity with demand
