Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a
Licensed Pharmacist
based in the
Tampa/St. Pete area . The Pharmacist will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the compounding and dispensing process, ensuring compliance with federal and state pharmacy regulations, USP
,
, and
standards, and maintaining the highest level of patient safety and quality control.
The role involves supervising pharmacy technicians, verifying compounded prescriptions, reviewing formulations, maintaining accurate patient and prescription records, and collaborating with providers to deliver optimal therapeutic outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring both clinical expertise and leadership skills to support the continued growth and operational excellence of LogosRX®.
Responsibilities
Verify and approve compounded and non-compounded prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness Ensure compliance with all 503A regulatory, state, and federal pharmacy laws and USP guidelines Supervise and train pharmacy technicians on compounding, labeling, and dispensing protocols Maintain accurate documentation for all pharmacy operations, formulations, and QA activities Collaborate with prescribers and patients to provide exceptional clinical support and consultation Oversee inventory management and maintain records of controlled substances and compounded ingredients Participate in continuous quality improvement and safety initiatives
Qualifications
Active
Pharmacist License
in the State of
Florida
(or ability to obtain before start date) Minimum
2 years of experience
in a compounding or clinical pharmacy setting Strong knowledge of
USP
,
, and
standards Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Proven ability to manage and supervise pharmacy support staff Strong communication and problem-solving skills Experience with sterile compounding or hazardous drug handling is a plus
