Pride Health is hiring a
Certified Medical Assistant
to support our client at a
Brooksville, FL 34601
medical facility. This is a 3 months contract opportunity (possibility extension) and a great opportunity to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization.
Primary Responsibilities: Demonstrates clinical competence in the direct care of patients in established area(s) of practice, and assisting MDs with procedures Performs clinical duties within scope of practice. Demonstrates a proactive approach to patient care, focusing on addressing each patient’s individual and family needs at the time of service; communicates identified needs in a timely manner Directs and/or escorts patients to exam rooms in a timely manner Demonstrated clinical competence when assisting physician/mid-level healthcare professional and/or nurse during exams and office diagnostic procedures/treatments Performs authorized procedures competently (i.e. vital signs, vision screening, selected laboratory tests) as directed by physician or nurse in clinical practice area
Must have Skills/Qualifications/Education / Work Experience: Active CMA/CCMA/RMA certification. BLS from AHA.
Additional Information: Location: Brooksville, FL 34601 Job Duration: 3 months contract opportunity (possibility extension) Shifts: Mon–Fri, Day Shift 8am - 5pm Hourly Pay: - $21 - $23.40 /hour
