Delivery Driver Job at Acme Smoked Fish Corp in Pompano Beach

The Delivery Driver is responsible for performing all tasks involved within the Driver/Fleet department, including but not limited to ensuring that the correct product is loaded onto the truck, all product stored in the truck is within the right temperature, all manifests match the product on the truck, delivering the product in a safe, timely manner to Acme customers in the South Florida region.

What You Will Do At Acme

• You will drive 16 – 26 ft box truck for deliveries.
• Ability to work in cold environment, assemble, palletize and move orders via pallet jack.
• Must have a “can do” attitude and want to be part of a team.
• Must be able to follow directions and communicate clearly.
• Assist with order packing as necessary.
• Additional duties as assigned within packing/shipping/deliveries.

Your Education & Experience

• High School diploma or Equivalent.
• Clean driving record.
• Valid license and DOT medical card
• Must be able to lift 25lb+
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to work in cold temperature environments for long periods of time.

Your Skills & Abilities

• Excellent work history, showing positive attendance and tenure.
• Previous delivery driving experience preferred.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
