Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, with a focus on newborns and infants
- Deliver care in a community health center environment
- Perform physical examinations, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans
- Manage acute and chronic illnesses
- Counsel patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Document care and manage patient information using Centricity EMR
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care
Additional Information
- Minimum 2 years post-residency experience required
- Experience with newborns is essential; candidates without this will not be considered if competing with someone who has it
- Community health center experience is mandatory
- Active Washington state license required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
- Board certification in Family Medicine needed
