Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population, with approximately 75 percent Spanish-speaking patients
- Collaborate with translators and Spanish-speaking medical assistants to ensure quality patient communication
- Deliver care to a high proportion of Medical/Medicaid patients
- Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and care coordination
- Maintain compliance with all clinical and regulatory protocols
- Ensure high standards of care are met in accordance with Family Medicine board certification requirements
Additional Information
- Locum experience is required
- Must have recent experience in an Internal Medicine setting
- Experience with FQHC, rural health, or IHS settings is preferred
- Active California Nurse Practitioner license, DEA registration, and furnishing license required
- Must hold board certification in Family Medicine
