We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day locum tenens opportunity in California, beginning Dec 1, 2025. This assignment offers a consistent Monday through Thursday schedule with 10-hour day shifts. The ideal candidate will have prior Family Medicine experience, proficiency with electronic medical records, and be comfortable prescribing.

  • Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:00am to 6:30pm (10-hour shifts)


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services within a Family Practice setting
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic health conditions
  • Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans
  • Utilize EMR systems efficiently to document patient care
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and practice standards


Additional Information

  • Must have a valid California license
  • Board certification in Family Medicine required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Previous experience in Family Medicine; new graduates will not be considered
  • Must be comfortable with technology and EMR systems
