New Pathology Locums Job in Ohio l November Start Our client in Ohio is searching for a Pathology locum candidate that will be available ongoing. Job Requirements for Assignment : Ohio medical license or active IMLC required AP/CP boards highly preferred Surgical Pathology with a focus on Renal Path highly preferred but only surgical path required. Will rotate call with the team of Pathologists Looking for coverage two weeks per month ongoing starting at the end of November 245 bed hospital Ongoing opportunity for two weeks per month Additional Details: Case load is 25-30 per day most biopsies can have 2-4 resections of varying difficulty resections may be lung, breast, GI, GU, simple GYN (no GYN Onc) biopsies include GI, lung, breast, GU (prostate, bladder, kidney), GYN (cervix, endometrium) occasional soft tissue, occasional liver (neo and non-neo), some Orthopedic cases No autopsies Residents and pathology assistants do the grossing There are frozen sections, but it s not a heavy load No blood banking. No bone marrows There are 7 Pathologists (5 surgical) one derma pathologists and one renal.
