Lead process improvement tools and methods (for example, 5S, root cause analysis, six sigma, time and motion studies) to eliminate quality losses and deviations in an area within a Distribution Center according to Network Process Structure using Walmart Performance System (WPS) programs. Deliver expected functional area results through KPI analysis, loss elimination, and by creating standard work to reduce process variation. Assist with the review and response of quality-focused process improvement projects owned by area managers. Compile and submit deviations to existing One Best Way playbooks and provide input to Divisional Focused Improvement Teams on project ideation and replication opportunities. Assist with the tactical deployment of the Quality Excellence WPS program methodology. Manage project execution of top quality losses in the functional area and help build the capability of other area managers and associates. Assist with the creation of area quality loss profile analysis and performance metrics; develop gap analyses to support WPS integration. Support Department Managers with WPS programs, projects, associate engagement, and KPI improvements within the process area. Lead quality-related savings projects within the area of responsibility by removing losses from the process. Promote and support company policies, initiatives, procedures, mission, values, and ethics. Provide expert guidance on applying information and best practices, align efforts to meet customer and business needs, and build commitment for perspectives and rationales. Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities and assignments by maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives, and measuring progress. Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and ensuring diversity awareness. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures; support ethical standards and the Open Door Policy in executing business processes. Benefits and Additional Information
