Job Description We are seeking a highly talented
Marketing Proposal Specialist III
to join our
Buildings + Places
team. This hybrid position is based in locations including Dallas, Austin, Houston, Denver, and Chicago.
Responsibilities
Lead medium‑to‑large proposals and presentations, supporting from capture through interview stage.
Support capture managers in developing win strategy during capture and interview preparation.
Create annotated outlines and content plans and provide recommendations to technical teams.
Serve as lead writer and editor for tailored resumes, past performance sections, executive summaries, and management approaches for proposals.
Facilitate color reviews, quality reviews, and apply lessons learned to add value to proposals.
Manage implementation of proposal and presentation revisions based on direction from review teams.
Provide recommendations in go/no‑go and greenlight analyses in compliance with delegation of authority guidelines.
Complete internal debriefs for proposals led, leverage past pursuit debrief information, support win/loss debriefs and gather client feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
Support marketing or pursuits strategy and content development related to clients/markets, marketing communications, campaigns, CAMs, and business lines as necessary.
Coach entry‑level proposal team members.
Perform a self‑check of work prior to submitting for review/approval.
Qualifications
BA/BS + 4 years of experience collaborating within a marketing team to lead and/or support proposal activity.
Developed understanding of effective proposal and presentation writing and production.
BA/BS in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing or a related field.
Knowledge of the A/E industry and AECOM’s projects, people, credentials, and competitors.
Knowledge of marketing best practices, work processes, and tools.
Strong knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Acrobat, Teams, and SharePoint.
Experience with CRM Salesforce is a plus.
Initiative, skill, and personal commitment to manage multiple projects and details concurrently.
Ability to produce accurate, compliant, and compelling work independently and with others.
Excellent writing skills with attention to detail.
Proven organizational and administrative skills and ability to manage documents.
Additional Information
The position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization now or in the future.
Relocation assistance and/or per diem is not offered.
Compensation range: USD 65,000 – 90,000 per year.
