A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to provide essential support to K-12 students across multiple schools in Milpitas, CA. This position offers a dynamic and rewarding schedule, working within diverse educational settings over the course of the contract school year (CSY).
Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology services to students in alignment with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and school district guidelines.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication development.
Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document student progress.
Serve students across three distinct sites with daily hours from 7:45 AM to 4:00 PM.
Schedule Details
Three full days at one high school location.
One and a half days at one elementary school.
Half day at a second elementary school.
All sites are within a 5 to 10-minute commuting distance, facilitating smooth transitions between locations.
Desired Qualifications And Experience
Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
Experience or specialization working within school settings.
Ability to manage caseloads efficiently across multiple school populations.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
