Overview
Publication Services Manager for Samaritan's Purse, serving with the Operation Christmas Child (OCC) ministry. Location: Charlotte, NC. Type: Full-Time. Language: English (required). Travel: 10-20 days annually; required travel documents and vaccinations for entry into foreign countries may be necessary. Responsibilities
Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him Manage typesetting processes and contracted graphic designers to produce new language editions of print materials Manage print file process in coordination with print buyers and print vendors Partner with content creators to support new product development initiatives Manage relationships with partnering Bible Societies for the use of Bible text within printed OCC materials Ensure the successful and timely completion of assigned translation projects in shared partnership with other staff Oversee the recruitment, selection, and training of new translators and proofreaders for assigned languages All other duties as assigned Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor\'s degree from a four-year college or university; and three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required); if not already completed, opportunity to meet and complete requirement is available upon hire Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign) required Prior project management experience working with/for printers and publishers Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills Working knowledge of project management software systems (e.g., Excel, Monday.com, Trello, Asana, etc.) Job Location
