Responsibilities
As a Senior Manager, Corporate Sanitation, the role will carry out responsibilities such as but not limited to development, management, and control of cleaning and sanitation programs. The role includes the development, management, control, and validation of procedures/SOPs on CIP, COPs, Manual Cleaning, Pest Control, and Environmental Monitoring Program.
Collaborate with Plant Leadership, Engineering, Maintenance, and other Lactalis divisions as appropriate to align duties with the company's goals and values.
Assist facilities in developing and implementing sanitation policies and procedures.
Review and validate the facilities’ Master Sanitation Schedule.
Review and validate all CIP circuits, chemical usage, and make improvement recommendations.
Participate and collaborate into the Lactalis sanitation network to deploy the Lactalis National Sanitation Program.
Assist the plants in developing sanitation KPIs; track and report KPIs on a monthly basis.
Assist the plants in housekeeping planning and implementation (5S).
Conduct regular sanitation audits to identify potential contamination risks and assist the facilities in developing corrective action plans.
Manage the selection of cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment to ensure proper sanitation.
Review and validate sanitation procedures of all new equipment/lines before commissioning.
Ensure all facilities have an up-to-date and accurate list of cleaning chemicals, and all SDS are valid.
Assist the plants with managing pest control programs.
Collaborate with Quality in Operations to successfully execute the Environmental Monitoring Program.
Collaborate with production managers, quality assurance teams, and regulatory auditors to address any sanitation-related concerns.
Understand and follow hygienic zones and recommend improvement activities as needed.
Train the plant teams in best practices in sanitation.

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:
Education
A bachelor’s degree is required.
A major in engineering, microbiology, food science, dairy science, or life sciences is required.
Experience
10+ years related experience, including active involvement in sanitation in the manufacturing environment, is required.
Work Conditions
Travel is required up to 50% monthly.
Extended hours may be necessary depending on the project’s needs.
Certifications and knowledge
The following certifications are preferred for this role: HACCP.
Knowledge of CIP Validation, Excel, Outlook is required.
