MRI Technologist at CommonSpirit Health Join Our Team! We are offering a competitive sign-on bonus and relocation assistance to qualified candidates. This role is for an MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment and support patient care in a high-quality health system. Responsibilities
Operates Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) equipment safely and accurately to capture specific images ordered by a physician to aid in patient diagnosis. Work includes preparing and operating MRI equipment, positioning patients correctly and effectively, recording the requested diagnostic images, and sending results to physician for evaluation and diagnosis. Apply knowledge of aseptic technique; maintain quality control for all imaging equipment; and maintain knowledge of physics, anatomy, techniques and medical terminology through continuing education, seminars, meetings and in-services. Prepare equipment for imaging tests based on physician\'s orders and in adherence to department safeguards and protocols to ensure quality results. Prepare the patient and perform MRI procedures; maintain records and logs as required by department protocols and licensure requirements. Perform incidental general office duties as needed, including answering phones, scheduling, filing, maintaining patient records and ordering supplies. Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology Prior Cardiac and Breast MRI experience preferred but not required. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification is required. State of Washington Certification as a Radiological Technologist required unless ARRT(MR) is achieved through the ARRT Primary Pathway. ARRT MRI Certification is preferred. Current healthcare provider BLS Certification. MRI Certification pay incentive available Location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. Where Youll Work
