CFA Supply
The General Manager (GM) will serve as the leader of supply chain operations at the new Chick-fil-A Supply Distribution Center in Winter Haven, FL (4050 Logistics Parkway, Winter Haven, FL 33884). This individual will be responsible for executing safe and effective operations that meet the needs of the organization and its employees. The GM will lead a workforce responsible for distributing millions of cases of inventory annually to Chick-fil-A Operators throughout the southwest. This individual will act as a liaison between Chick-fil-A Supply leadership and the DC. The GM will drive the operations of the distribution center. Most importantly, this person will lead in a way that supports Chick-fil-A’s vision and strategy while embodying the corporate purpose.

Responsibilities
Lead two food service distribution center operations with a safety mindset.
Act as a liaison, balancing the needs of the Operator with the capabilities of both operations.
Lead and engage two workforces of 60+ people with specific ownership of and focus on various functions within both buildings.
Design, implement, manage and improve market distribution center operations at each DC.
Deliver high service levels to Operators and achieve KPIs at both sites.
Participate in the management and oversight of the two buildings’ P&Ls.
Drive innovation in all areas of both market distribution center operations.
Share best practices within the two facilities to leverage success at both.
Support Chick-fil-A vision and strategy by building a culture that aligns with the Chick-fil-A Supply values of care, safety and excellence.
Complete other activities as deemed valuable by leadership.
Relationship Management
Work closely with CFA Supply Extended Leadership Team, CFA Inc. Supply Chain, Operators, and various business partners to ensure optimal alignment and collaboration.
Demonstrate the ability to value both relationships and results and to put others above themselves.
Simultaneously recruit, train, and develop two strong teams.
Minimum Qualifications
7+ years of experience in distribution, manufacturing, or other relevant supply chain field management, including 5+ years in a leadership position.
Strong aptitude to think critically, solve problems, and drive improvements in a professional and respectful manner.
Understanding of production and inventory control theories and practices.
Functional knowledge of designing, managing, and executing distribution center operations.
Knowledge of general accounting practices and P&L.
Demonstrated experience and success with process improvement and efficiency, including establishing and managing KPIs.
Working knowledge of inbound logistics, warehousing, IT systems, and outbound logistics in the distribution industry.
Knowledge of and ability to ensure compliance with general safety standards, quality specifications, and governmental requirements.
Requirements
Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and communication skills.
Strong ability to negotiate and resolve conflict by navigating confrontational situations to ensure all parties are treated with honor, dignity, and respect.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access; experience with ERP, WMS, and TMS solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, supply chain management or another relevant field.
8+ years of experience leading large scale distribution operations.
Experience managing in a food distribution or food manufacturing environment.
Experience in a start-up environment.
Demonstrated success in operations and people leadership.
Experience with building and managing budgets and general accounting practices.
Demonstrated ability to perform effective short-term and long-range planning.
