8 AM – 4 PM
Salary Range:
$67,000 - $85,000 plus bonus

The Wedding Design Studio Manager is responsible for executing and overseeing the day-to-day flow of the design studio. This role requires a dependable, self-directed individual who leads by example, maintains a high standard of design quality, and ensures the wedding design studio runs smoothly. The perfect candidate would be a thorough communicator who can lead the team to take the Wedding Sales team visions from paper to reality seamlessly.

Responsibilities Studio Management
Wedding design assignments all prepared before designers shifts are started
Create the weeks production plan
Work closely with the processing team to know what’s incoming, quality issues, and what to prioritize when processing.
When pulling flowers from the cooler; check colors of blooms to ensure they match the design aesthetic envisioned by wedding sales team
Keep the design floor clean, organized, and stocked throughout the day ensuring its safe for all customers and employees
Tackle side tasks such as replenishing and reordering tools, supplies, vases, clean buckets, organize cooler, prep work for upcoming weeks etc
Oversee supply inventory (clippers, gloves, rubber bands, sharpies, post-its, strippers, etc.)
Production Oversight and Communication
Manage production of a large volume of high-quality wedding designs
Approve quality and design of all perishable wedding products before they are moved to the cooler
Support newer designers by checking work at key stages and offering feedback
Step in to complete assignments or resolve design issues as needed
Meet weekly with the Sales Consultants and Producers to discuss design aesthetics and intricacies of each upcoming individual wedding
Respond fast to last minute design changes or feedback from Consultants and Producers
NAVigate our floral inventory and recipe software
Utilize all our platforms to monitor design budget and scheduling of design team
Maintain a professional, kind, and supportive presence in the studio
Communicate directly with management about:
Missing product or order delays
Workflow issues
Staffing concerns
Collaborate with the broader teams and departments
Flexibility to lend a hand to other departments as needed
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in wedding/event design leadership role
People-person with excellent communication skills & positive demeanor.
Leadership skills in a team-based environment.
Knowledge of flowers, design techniques, and industry trends is essential
Ability to work peak season weekends & key floral holidays.
Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment with quick client turnaround.
Ability to conduct urgency with last minute changes to orders
