Noise and Vibration Engineer at Altair. This is a contract position based in Saline, MI. What You Will Do
Develop noise and vibration performance of vehicle frame, body, and chassis using finite element models. Assemble trim body and full vehicle finite element models. Analyze acoustic and structural performance, identify root causes and mechanisms for NV failures. Study and develop countermeasures to improve NV performance. Basics
BS, MS, or PhD in engineering. 3+ years of NV CAE experience. 3+ years of NV CAE experience using Altair HyperMesh or Beta CAE ANSA. 3+ years of NV CAE experience using MSC NASTRAN or BETA META Post for frequency response analysis. Preferred
