What you'll do Be a Team Member: Maintains up-to date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborates with cross-functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicates effectively with team members; and remains flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas. Be an Expert: Prepares food according to item specifications; plans for future and seasonal productions; adheres to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment. Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; uses handheld technology for production decisions, ordering merchandise, receiving club pick up orders, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them. Be an Owner: Drives area performance; stocks and rotates merchandise; ensures quality and date control; eliminates waste; provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying needs; assists with purchasing decisions and resolving issues. Be a Talent Ambassador: Acts as a brand advocate; guides and inspires teammates to work in a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented manner; helps address roadblocks and support training. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and applying these in executing business processes and practices. Completes work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carries out tasks; communicates progress and information; identifies improvement opportunities; and adapts to and learns from change, difficulties, and feedback.
