Description Echocardiography technologist understands all aspects of cardiac disease and performs different types of echocardiography testing with accuracy and analytical skills, in accordance with BHSF and IAC standards. The technologist is responsible for the operation of the laboratory equipment, and for performing and communicating results of all types of echocardiography testing to other healthcare providers. The technologist should maintain a high standard of medical ethics at all times and should be self-motivated to increase level of understanding and knowledge of cardiac diseases as well as new procedures and applications as they evolve. Estimated pay range for this position is $34.08 - $47.71 / hour depending on experience. Base pay range

Degrees High School Diploma or GED Licenses & Certifications ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Basic Life Support CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer Additional Qualifications Graduate from an accredited allied health program, preferably with separate track on cardiovascular ultrasonography. Certification in ARDMS-Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or CCI-Registered Cardiac Sonographer. Current BLS certification by the American Heart Association. Minimum Required Experience: 1 Year EOE, including disability/vets Experience & requirements
