Interpret engineering data such as drawings and specifications and inspect in accordance with the data. Use standard measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, height gages, dial indicators, etc.). Perform visual and dimensional inspections for receiving inspections on aviation parts from details to sub-assemblies. Understand visual and cosmetic standards. Write nonconformance reports and assist in corrective actions investigations. Review supplier certifications for conformance to requirements. Data collection for statistical analysis. Understand and interpret tolerances; apply knowledge of precision measuring instruments and geometric/positional tolerances. Travel as required to support suppliers or source/auditing inspection program. Qualifications
Ability to interpret engineering data and use measuring equipment competently. Experience performing visual and dimensional inspections and receiving/first article inspections. Familiarity with visual and cosmetic standards and writing inspection and nonconformance reports. Strong understanding of root cause analysis and corrective actions. Experience reviewing supplier certifications for conformance. Knowledge of statistical data collection methods. Language: able to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken). Education
High School Diploma required. Two-year college/Associate Degree, trade/technical school, or certification desired. Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of direct experience in quality control/receiving inspection or a related role. Other
Must be authorized to work in the United States. Extended or irregular hours may be required. Hourly rate transparency:
