Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively; develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service; be flexible to work in other areas; track goods; maintain in-stock levels; and control shrinkage in a timely manner. Be an Expert: Understand processes and specifications related to quality of various types of produce merchandise; prepare (trim, crisp, package, scale) products according to standards; maintain product safety and sanitation; adhere to laws, regulations, and company policies related to produce quality. Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology for decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them. Be an Owner: Drive area performance; utilize digital tools; stock and rotate department products using perpetual inventory management; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; assist customers according to policies and procedures. Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member’s experience and modeling high-quality service and products; execute basics at the highest level of quality; show energy, commitment, and passion for the work. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; use Open Door Policy; apply these in business processes and practices. Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; identify priorities and deadlines; communicate progress; seek opportunities for improvement; adapt to change, difficulties, and feedback.
