Job Summary: Metallurgical Engineer (Aerospace/Metallurgy) is needed for a client near the New Castle/Butler, PA area. Full-time direct hire role. Candidate must have experience working as a Metallurgist/Materials Engineer from the Aerospace industry currently or recent experience. Base salary $100,000 - $137,500 depending upon experience plus relocation assistance, benefits, 401K and a great work culture. Location: New Castle, Pennsylvania Job type: Permanent Salary: $100,000 - 137,500 per year Work hours: 8am to 4pm Education: Bachelor’s Responsibilities
Oversees the investigation and disposition of non-conforming material (NCMs). Instructs the Sales department by providing technical guidance and creation/revision of E-grades and remelt profiles to meet customer needs. Responsible for developing and leading quality training for EQS employees. Reviews production schedule and processing records to ensure that Operations follows procedures and sound metallurgical practices. Travel (local, national and international) as needed to different facilities, conferences or customers. Qualifications
Experience level: Experienced Minimum 2 years of experience Education: Bachelor’s (required) Skills
Materials (2 years of experience is required) Alloys (2 years of experience is required) Super Alloys (2 years of experience is preferred) Aerospace Metallurgy (2 years of experience is required) Remelt VAR or ESR Equal Opportunity Employer
