11:00 pm – 7:30 am, Sunday – Friday. Position Summary
As a Lead Maintenance Technician, you’ll lead the maintenance of production and facility equipment, performing advanced repairs, troubleshooting across multiple systems, and driving continuous improvement. You will serve as a subject‑matter expert, mentor others, and support safety, efficiency, and reliability across the site. Responsibilities
Perform advanced mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs. Troubleshoot and maintain pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam systems. Lead or support root‑cause analysis and problem‑solving projects. Monitor and maintain plant systems (boilers, compressors, HVAC, etc.). Use manuals, drawings, and technical resources to diagnose issues. Maintain organized workspaces and inventory areas. Support emergency repairs and scheduled maintenance. Train and mentor lower‑level technicians. Follow safety rules, GMPs, SOPs, and company policies. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements
High school diploma or GED required. Electrical certification required; preference for Journeyman or Master electrical certifications. Mechanically inclined with proficiency in standard tools, including electrical test meters. Experience working with mechanical equipment, preferably in a manufacturing or packaging environment. High level of organizational skills and good written and oral communication. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Capacity to multi‑task and follow up when responses are needed. Skills
Comfortable using CMMS and basic software (Outlook, Excel, Word). Experience with SAP, Oracle, AS400, PQM, or Captiva preferred. Strong attention to detail and organization. Advanced math and reading skills. Ability to read blueprints and generate rough sketches. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and machine shop equipment. Knowledge of electrical testing tools and lubrication systems. Team‑oriented, dependable, and self‑motivated. Strong communication and leadership abilities.
