Yellowstone Club is a private residential community in Big Sky, Montana, offering a world-class private ski and golf experience. Our employees help create memorable guest experiences with attention to detail and the highest level of service. Yellowstone Club is currently seeking a Full-Time Year-Round Sous Chef for the upcoming Winter season to assist in culinary management and food creation for an assigned restaurant outlet. Responsibilities
Ensure outstanding guest service in a guest-friendly environment, including greeting and acknowledging members and guests, maintaining service standards, solid product knowledge, and all components of guest service. Guarantee total guest satisfaction, display hospitality and professionalism, and ensure all interactions with guests are handled legally and ethically. Understand and apply property safety and security procedures to maintain a secure environment for employees, members, and guests. In case of an accident or emergency, seek medical attention if necessary and contact the General Manager or Human Resources. Position Requirements
Certificate in culinary arts or relevant field; 6+ years of experience as a Cook/Line Cook in a resort or club setting; highly proficient in regional American cuisine; knowledge of world-class hospitality and service management; proven ability to lead and manage a culinary team. Provide information to supervisors, co-workers, and staff by telephone, written form, e-mail, or in person. Improve service by understanding member and guest needs, providing guidance, feedback, and individual coaching when needed. Assist Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef, and Chef de Cuisine with kitchen operations and preparation. Prepare and cook foods of all types, for regular use or special guests/functions. Develop, design, or create new applications, ideas, relationships, systems, or products, including artistic contributions. Assist in determining food presentation and decorative displays. Work to continually improve member and guest dining satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget. Position Details
