Responsibilities
Analyses governmental regulations and their impact on revenue cycle processes across INTEGRIS Health facilities.
Assess and analyze diverse data related to the revenue cycle for all facilities.
Complete Medicare Part A Enrollment applications for INTEGRIS Health facilities (hospitals, home health, hospice, DEMPOS).
Maintain and submit documentation and tracking for appeals and audit outcomes in the RAC database and other databases.
Create return on investment analyses for Recovery Auditor Contractor (RAC) and Revenue Integrity audits.
Perform complex claims analysis and assist with audit appeals; document and track the appeals process and outcomes for RAC audits.
Analyze claims data for trends and vulnerabilities in billing patterns; assist with implementation of corrective actions.
Communicate audit and appeal statuses to key stakeholders within the INTEGRIS Health system.
Establish and maintain access for INTEGRIS Health entities within CMS PECOS; report to the Manager of Revenue Integrity.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field with 2 years of related experience; or associate's degree with 4 years of related experience; or 6 years of related experience.
2 years’ experience with DRG, ICD-10, CPT-4 medical coding and UB-04/CMS-1500 claim billing; relevant compliance experience.
Previous work experience in managed care and government billing preferred.
Previous experience in Medicare provider enrollment preferred.
Computer experience (MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
Effective English communication (verbal/written).
Advanced certifications preferred (e.g., CCS, CPC, CPC-H).
Knowledge of regulatory compliance issues, ICD-9 and CPT-4 medical coding, UB-04/HCFA-1500 billing.
Must operate an INTEGRIS-owned or approved vehicle and have a valid Oklahoma driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
