Overview
Insight Global is seeking two Telecom Technicians to join a dynamic team supporting a large-scale telecommunications environment in Anchorage, Alaska. These roles are ideal for professionals with telecom experience who are looking to grow their careers in a fast-paced, supportive setting. Candidates with Avaya experience are highly preferred, but we welcome applicants with general telecom backgrounds.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot telecom systems and equipment.
Support voice and data communications infrastructure.
Perform diagnostics and resolve issues related to telecom hardware and software.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure optimal system performance.
Document work performed and maintain accurate service records.
Qualifications
Previous experience in telecom support or installation (Avaya experience is a plus).
Familiarity with voice/data systems, cabling, and network infrastructure.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be located in or willing to relocate to Anchorage, AK.
This is a
3-month contract-to-hire
opportunity with a strong potential for full-time conversion.
Competitive hourly pay with a conversion salary of
$85,000/year .
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
