Job Summary

Receives, rotates, cuts, wraps, and merchandises fresh and processed meats, including grinds. Assists in merchandising of seafood, prepared foods, cheeses and pre-packed deli. Supports the rotisserie chicken area and full service deli. Assists in meat selection and prepares special meat arrangements for Members. Maintains all sanitation and safety standards within the meat department.

Club Standards Work as a team to deliver GOLD club standards daily.

Maintain items stocked and promotional plans executed; ensure visible accurate signage; keep areas clean and organized.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, And Key Accountabilities Engage with Members by making recommendations and answering questions regarding meat, poultry, and seafood. Prepare special cuts ordered by Members.

Cut, grind, and process fresh meats to company standards. Weigh, package, wrap, and label products accordingly.

Ensure meat case showcases current products and maintain appropriate inventory levels.

Ensure cases are stocked and rotate products by expiration dates. Follow disposal guidelines for damaged/expired items.

Clean and sanitize equipment, fixtures, and area in the meat department, including coolers and display cases.

Inspect and store meat on delivery; ensure it meets company quality standards.

Receive and unpack meat, poultry, seafood, prepared foods, and cheeses.

Maintain club policies and procedures; perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.

Qualifications Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.

Previous meat cutting experience required.

Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.

At least 18 years of age.

Environmental Job Conditions Most work is on hard surfaces with occasional bending, handling, reaching, and stooping.

Frequently lift up to 30 pounds; may lift more with assistance.

Located in a cooler area with temperature extremes and loud noises; possible exposure to cleaning agents.

In accordance with Pay Transparency requirements, compensation range is provided. The pay range for this position is $21.25 - $26.63.
