Coproduct Sales Manager

located in either

The Coproduct Sales Manager is responsible for utilizing commodity marketing and sales fundamentals to build, manage, and maintain business relationships through sales, marketing, and referrals. This role is highly involved in logistics to ensure the smooth operation of GLE’s ethanol business. Regular travel within the region is required for feed sales. Employment in this role is contingent upon successfully passing pre-employment requirements. Key Responsibilities

Actively pursue and maintain local and regional sales relationships for distiller’s grains (DDG) and distiller’s corn oil (DCO). Develop and manage an extensive database of current and prospective customers for modified, wet, and dried DDG and DCO. Use independent discretion in financial commitments on behalf of GLE. Demonstrate knowledge of DDG, grain marketing, and crush margin management fundamentals. Monitor the quality and quantity of distillers’ inventory at all plants. Coordinate local truck sales for DDG and DCO. Collaborate with plant operations teams to align inventory and production plans. Communicate inventory levels, pricing, and logistics to relevant stakeholders. Manage DCO inventories across locations and coordinate freight logistics for rail shipments. Oversee freight logistics for DDG hoppers and DCO tankers. Manage the DCO transloading business at Watertown and Mina locations. Maintain accurate recordkeeping for sales, accounts receivable, and freight payables. Organize distillers’ grain informational and sales meetings with producers and feed company representatives. Provide expertise to producers regarding animal feed rations. Develop a thorough understanding of GLE products, operations, business objectives, and regulatory requirements. Contribute to financial forecasts and budgets as needed. Travel daily within the region; occasional overnight travel may be required. Drive continuous improvement in all aspects of work. Actively promote GLE’s vision, mission, and values with colleagues, vendors, and customers. Demonstrate reliability in attendance, timeliness, and task completion. Maintain a high level of customer service. Perform other duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications

BS/BA in agricultural science, economics, chemistry, biology, or related field, or 5+ years of successful experience in agricultural product sales (or an equivalent combination of education and experience). 3–5 years of successful field sales experience; at least 2 years in a related manufacturing industry preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse audiences. Knowledge of USDA programs relevant to grain producers. Experience working with Agris software is preferred. Compensation

The salary range for this role is $120,000 to $190,000 based on experience How to Apply
