Role Summary We are seeking a knowledgeable Database Analyst to join our team on a long‑term contract basis, supporting data management and optimization for a communications‑focused organization based in New York, NY.
Responsibilities
Assist in consolidating and transitioning multiple billing systems into a unified platform.
Evaluate and enhance data structures to ensure accuracy and reliability across various business units.
Merge data, resolve discrepancies, and implement effective solutions.
Analyze processes to identify opportunities for improvement and streamline workflows.
Create detailed documentation to maintain clarity and alignment with project stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth data integration and management.
Maintain and optimize relational databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
Utilize SQL tools to create, manage, and query database objects efficiently.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve data analysis and reporting capabilities.
Requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, SQL queries, and database objects.
Strong experience in data management, data warehousing, and relational database systems.
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to independently solve complex problems.
Adept at working in a fast‑paced environment and collaborating with remote cross‑functional teams.
Solid analytical skills to assess data integrity and structure.
Effective communication skills to document processes and liaise with stakeholders.
Background in data analysis with a focus on improving usability and reliability.
