Universal Ai University invites applications from accomplished and passionate scholars to join our faculty as an
Associate Professor of Finance . The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality instruction, advancing research in the field of finance, and contributing to the academic growth and professional development of students. This role involves teaching, mentoring, research, academic leadership, and active participation in departmental, school, and university service activities.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Instruction
Deliver undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral-level courses in Finance.
Design and update curricula in line with NEP 2020/2025 guidelines and industry requirements.
Employ innovative pedagogical methods, case-based learning, and technology-enabled teaching.
Mentor students in academic projects, internships, and dissertations.
Research & Scholarship
Conduct high-quality research in Finance and related interdisciplinary areas.
Publish in reputed peer-reviewed journals (Scopus/ABDC/ABS/UGC Care listed).
Supervise Ph.D. and M.Phil. scholars.
Actively seek and secure external research funding.
Contribute to departmental development, curriculum design, and accreditation processes (NBA, NAAC, AACSB, NIRF, etc.).
Participate in committees and take on academic/administrative leadership roles when required.
Foster partnerships with industry, professional bodies, and international academic institutions.
Professional Development
Stay abreast of current trends in Finance, FinTech, Financial Markets, and Business Analytics.
Engage in continuous professional learning, workshops, and faculty development programs.
Contribute thought leadership through conferences, seminars, and policy dialogues.
Qualifications Education:
Ph.D. in Finance/Commerce/Management or a closely related discipline from a UGC-accredited institution.
UGC-NET/SET qualification (where applicable).
Experience:
Minimum of
8 years of teaching/research experience
at the university level, including 3 years at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent.
A strong record of research and publications in reputed journals.
Experience in guiding doctoral/PG research is highly desirable.
Experience in accreditation, quality assurance, and industry collaboration is preferred.
Skills:
Excellent teaching, research, and academic mentoring capabilities.
Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills in Finance.
Ability to integrate technology, simulations, and financial tools into teaching.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to student success, institutional growth, and academic leadership.
