The Clinical Neuroscience Lab, directed by Dr. Ruchika Prakash, is seeking a Research Scientist who will lead and contribute to independent and collaborative research within the Department of Psychology at The Ohio State University. The role involves designing and executing studies in clinical neuroscience, particularly in the area of mind-body interventions, analyzing results and advancing the scientific mission of the department and the Clinical Neuroscience Lab through publications, mentorship, grant development, and active participation in collaborative research activities. The position also entails significant leadership responsibilities in lab management, student supervision, and strategic planning in coordination with the Lab Director.This position is a one-year appointment, renewable contingent on satisfactory performance and availability of funds.**Minimum Education Required**
Doctoral degree in Neuroscience, Psychology, or a closely related field.**Required Qualifications**·
Earned a doctoral degree in a relevant field and prior research experience.·
Demonstrated productivity beyond that of a postdoctoral fellow.·
Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.·
Proven ability to conduct independent research.·
Experience mentoring and supervising graduate students.·
Demonstrated success in grant writing and research funding.·
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.**Desired Qualifications**·
Experience managing research staff and coordinating lab operations.·
Familiarity with proposal development and securing external funding.·
Expertise in clinical or cognitive neuroscience, advanced research methods (e.g., neuroimaging, cognitive assessment, or intervention trial design), or biostatistics.·
